Stopno is a small settlement in the Škocjan municipality in southeastern Slovenia. The area is part of the historical region of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Southeast Slovenia statistical region.[2]
The local church, built on the top of a hill, is dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary and belongs to the Bučka parish. It is a medieval pilgrimage church dating to the mid 15th century.[3]
